Battleverse Champions: Arena 1.1 Patch Notes

Last week we soft-launched worldwide on iOS with our new game Battleverse Champions: Arena (which you can read about HERE). Today, we’ve extended that release to the Samsung Galaxy Store on Android as well as Skillz™ platform, links below! Welcome to the Battleverse, everyone!

  • Healing Powerup: Increased the amount healed from 25 to 50.
  • Adjusted the ‘opponent defeated’ message to include a reference to additional bonus time.
  • Bonus bot name is now ✨sparkling and glamorous✨
  • Off-screen indicator added underneath enemy champion portrait, use this to track and find enemy champions!
  • Reversed colors and button size of forfeit and resume from pause menu.
  • Score attack timer now shows a color distinction for when time is running out, from green to red as time decreases.
  • Post-match challenges made ✨fancier✨.



    • Slice: Increased swiftness duration from 1 second to 2 seconds.
    • Swipe: Increased the damage from 5 to 6 and reduced the bonus damage from 4 to 3.
    • Stalk Prey:
      • Increased the damage from 5 to 10.
      • Increased the duration of slow and swiftness from 2 seconds to 2.5 seconds.
    • Calculated Impact: Increased the damage from 15 to 20 and reduced the bonus damage from 15 to 10.
    • Ensnare: Increased the damage from 14 to 18.
    • Hunter’s Mark: Increased the damage from 5 to 8.
    • Adrenaline Surge: Increased the swiftness duration from 3 seconds to 6 seconds.


    • Toxin: This has been changed from lasting 10 seconds and dealing damage every 2 seconds to lasting 5 seconds and dealing damage every 1 second.
      • The total damage is the same, it’s just more frontloaded.
    • Shield Bash: Increased damage from 12 to 15.
    • Vine Wall: Increased the damage from 5 to 8 and increased the amount of toxin stacks from 1 to 2.
    • Fracturing Mushroom: Increase the damage per toxin from 2 to 3.


    • Made Hugo’s exhaust on his Epic and Legendary cosmetic skins even more exhausting!

Bug Fixes

  • In ability loadout select menu, ability loadout items change between “equip” or “equipped” depending on it’s status.
  • Main menu settings button will no longer move when clicked.
  • Allow forfeiting from main menu settings during the Skillzscore attack pregame UI.
  • Pause menu home screen should no longer appear blank when opening.
  • Adjusted the text size of the skin unlock cost so that it will properly fit in the button for legendary unlock cost considerations.
  • Ability VFX should not overlap onto the pause screen anymore.
  • Challenges should now correctly award glory to players, and you no longer need to manually claim.
